Trash the Dress!

I'm sure you're wondering what I mean by "Trash the Dress"?
Well, today some photographer friends and I met at the Bicenntenial Mall
in Nashville to photograph some beautiful brides in their wedding dresses,
in a non-traditional style; they had no worries about getting their dress
dirty or wet! Here are a few shots I took from our session today.

Cool Car!

I had the opportunity to second shoot for my good friend Michael Krouskop.
We have worked together for several years now, and it's always a blast when I am available to help him out on a shoot.

Miles and Julia

After posting some photos of Julia and me, I thought I should
to put up a couple of photos I took of the kids a little while
back. I don't think some of you have met my son Miles.
He is a wonderful and sweet little boy... well, he isn't that little
anymore: standing five feet four inches tall and only nine
years old! He can't wait to be my assistant, and looking at the way he
can photograph I wouldn't be surprised if you see more
of his work in the next few years. Here are my kids.

Julia and Me

I haven't posted any photos of my kids lately, so I wanted to share
a few photos my dear friend and amazing photographer Kimberly
Naranjo took of Julia and me a few months back.
I used to assist her at weddings, and she really inspired me with
her amazing work. (She also took maternity photos of me while
I was pregnant with Julia.) I will try and pull those out and
so you can see more of her beautiful work. Thank you Kimberly!!

Hollie and Mikel

I had so much fun photographing Hollie and Mikel's wedding
July 20 at Riverwood Mansion - the evening couldn't have been
more perfect. Here are a few photos from the day.

Simpson's Movie "Springfield Challenge"

I received a call from Moroch/Fox Studios asking me to photograph the mayor of Springfield, TN for the "Springfield Challenge". My assistant Kristie and I got up early Friday morning and headed due north to meet Mayor Billy Paul Carneal. His Springfield is competing with thirteen others to host the debut of the upcoming "The Simpsons Movie". Here is a link to vote for them - the voting ends tomorrow, so place your vote soon! If Tennessee wins then you will see one of my photos featured in the USA Today.

Christi and Shayne

What a wonderful day! Christi and Shayne were married
at the Hendersonville Baptist Church Saturday afternoon.
It was a beautiful ceremony - they are such a sweet
couple, and you can tell by just looking at the photos
how in love they are! Congrats Christi and Shayne, and
thank you for having me be a part of your amazing day!
